Job Title: Experienced Litigation Secretary for Personal Injury Defense Law Firm
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation up to and including trial.
- Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and motions.
- Save documents into case management systems and organize case files.
- Schedule depositions, mediations, and other meetings at the attorney's direction.
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain calendars and deadlines for case-related activities.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts in a professional manner.
Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a California Litigation Secretary.
- Proficient in using document management systems and calendaring.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Professional phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team to accomplish tasks as needed.
- Familiarity with California court filing procedures and legal terminology.
Salary Information:
- Salary range: $65, - $75, per year.
