- Position: Litigation Paralegal (Temporary to Permanent)
- Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 annually
- Location: Roseland, New Jersey (Hybrid Remote)
- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a large law firm
- Education: Bachelor's degree required

What You Will Do:
- Assist Litigation attorneys in all phases of the litigation process
- Manage case documents, including data preservation, document production, case file creation, organization and maintenance, calendaring, and filings
- Maintain a docket for each pending matter and handle court filings and issues arising from service of process
- Review incoming documents, court papers, etc. and perform research using various tools
- Draft discovery documents and pleadings, and assist with preparation of court filings
- Coordinate and prepare documents for production, including creating document production logs and privilege logs
- Other tasks as assigned
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Adherence to all administrative deadlines and completion of all goals as discussed with manager
- Regularly check email for assignment notifications and case-related communications
- Meet all billable requirements set by the department (as applicable)
- Organize and maintain electronic and hard copy files for assigned cases
- Maintain a docket for each pending matter and handle court filings and issues arising from service of process
- Review incoming documents, court papers, etc. and perform research using various tools
- Draft discovery documents and pleadings, and assist with preparation of court filings
- Coordinate and prepare documents for production, including creating document production logs and privilege logs
- Other tasks as assigned
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a paralegal in a large law firm
- Extensive knowledge of New York and New Jersey federal, state, and local court rules, procedures, and practices
- Experience with calendaring or docketing systems, such as BEC Legal
- Knowledge of Electronic Court Filing (ECF) rules and practices
- Advanced understanding of discovery and trial applications, such as Relativity, Trial Director, etc.
- Ability to interact with all levels of Firm Personnel
- Strong organization, client service, oral and written communication, and analytical and problem solving skills
Office Location:
Roseland, NJ (Hybrid Remote)
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Additional hours as work requires.
Amount of Travel Required:
Regular travel/interaction with New York office may be required.
