Job Title: Receptionist
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls, client intakes, emails, mail, and correspondence professionally to maintain effective communication and support for staff and clients.
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, client data entry, scanning, opening and closing files, and purging old files, ensuring the organization and accessibility of client information and documents.
- Conduct conflict checks to avoid potential legal conflicts of interest.
- Schedule appointments and meetings by managing calendars to optimize time management and productivity for the team.
- Occasionally prepare correspondence to clients and other attorneys to facilitate clear and effective communication.
- Make visits to the courthouse to deliver or pick up documents, ensuring timely and secure handling of legal documents.
- Visit the bank for necessary transactions to support the financial operations of the law firm.
- Welcome guests and clients in a friendly and professional manner, providing a positive first impression and fostering good relationships.
- Order and manage office supplies to ensure the office is well-stocked and operationally efficient.
Education and Experience Information:
- A High School Diploma or . is required.
- One year of related experience is preferred but not required, allowing for entry-level candidates to apply while valuing previous experience.
Salary Information:
- The pay range is to per hour, based on experience, providing competitive compensation for the role.
Schedule:
- The position is full-time, with an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, including a 1-hour lunch break, ensuring a structured work schedule.
- The role requires the ability to commute to and work in person in Charlotte, NC 28204, with relocation necessary before starting work if not already residing in the area.
