Job Title:
Attorney- Associate- Litigation

Job Responsibilities:
The associate will be tasked with supporting the community association group attorneys in general corporate counsel matters and assisting the construction litigation group attorneys with community association litigation issues. Key responsibilities include managing all phases of litigation, with particular emphasis on drafting pleadings, engaging in written discovery, taking and defending depositions, handling oral motion hearings, and providing trial assistance. The associate will also manage general corporate contracts, legal opinions, by-law amendments, rule creation, and collection litigation. Attendance at community association meetings is required, along with providing timely and consistent updates on the status of cases and assignments. The role requires a physical presence in the office to ensure in-person collaboration and engagement with the team. The associate is also expected to participate in trade organizations, conferences, and networking events.

Education and Experience Information:
The position requires two to four years of experience handling litigation matters, with community association experience considered a plus. Strong research and writing skills are essential, as well as superior verbal and written communication abilities. The candidate must demonstrate strong integrity, professionalism, and the ability to exercise judgment while working autonomously and as an effective team member. A sense of urgency and a calm demeanor are necessary, along with intellectual curiosity and the ability to solve problems independently. The ideal candidate will have an interest in handling both transactional and litigation matters. Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required, and admission to the Pennsylvania Bar is considered a plus.
