- Identifying client contact information and sharing it as necessary, as well as determining the scope of projects, estimating resource needs, identifying potential issues, and gathering necessary information.
- Creating and verifying project timelines, identifying milestones and due dates, confirming task responsibilities with attorneys, and ensuring all milestones are met.
- Communicating regularly with attorneys, at least twice a month, to update on file needs, due dates, and task assignments.
- Attending and participating in project manager meetings with the workflow manager, as well as practice group meetings, coordinating schedules, and creating agendas and minutes.
- Gathering project resources and coordinating the collection of project information through documents and client meetings.
- Managing the implementation of project timelines, deliverables, and resources, and closing the project or file upon completion.
- Adhering to firm policies and practices, including maintaining client confidentiality and following project management protocols.
- Thinking critically to propose new processes and procedures to improve operations.
- Managing or working on administrative support tasks, special file management tasks, and special operating tasks as needed.
- Recording billable and non-billable time using the firm’s Timeslips billing software, ensuring slip descriptions are professional and detailed.
