Job Title: Paralegal - Family Law

Job Responsibilities:
- Draft motions, pleadings, judgments, and related legal documents such as asset lists, affidavits, and child support worksheets.
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation and trial proceedings.
- Manage attorney calendars and case files to ensure efficient workflow and case management.
- Schedule appointments, court dates, and mediations/depositions to facilitate legal processes.
- Liaise between clients and attorneys, which includes conducting client interviews to gather pertinent information.
- Assist in trial settings to ensure that all necessary documentation and support are available.
- Prepare and review discovery materials, including disclosure statements, interrogatories, and production requests, to aid in case development.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a paralegal in a family law firm or private practice is required. Candidates without family law experience will not be considered.
- Paralegal certification is highly preferred, indicating a formal recognition of the candidate's skills and knowledge in the field.
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies is desired, reflecting a solid educational foundation in legal studies.
- The candidate must possess outstanding organizational and time-management skills, crucial for managing multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.

Salary Information:
- The compensation for this position is $70,000 per year, reflecting the candidate's experience and skills in family law.

Additional Information:
This is a hybrid role where the candidate will work in the office three days a week with the flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days. Additional in-office days may be required occasionally for onboarding, trial preparation, or other key legal matters.
