Job Title: File Clerk

Job Responsibilities:
The File Clerk is responsible for organizing paperwork according to an efficient filing system and digitizing all important documents. This role requires a strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection. The primary objective is to preserve the law firm’s records and manage paperwork effectively. Key responsibilities include:

- Sorting and filing documents to appropriate classifications as per guidelines.
- Classifying information based on content, purpose, user criteria, and chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order.
- Performing general office duties such as typing, operating office machines, and sorting mail.
- Adding new information to file records and creating new records as necessary.
- Filing correspondence, cards, invoices, receipts, and other records in alphabetical or numerical order according to the system used for that file.
- Assisting attorney teams in filing, scanning, and sorting.
- Activating new client files.
- Coordinating with File Clerks in the Business Office concerning duties related to closed files.
- Completing daily reports to management.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

- Previous related experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Salesforce software or other CRM systems.
- Familiarity with a wide variety of office equipment.
- A valid driver's license and a clean/favorable driving record are required.
