The law firm of GrayRobinson is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Assistant for our Private Client Services department. This full-service firm values professionalism and integrity, and we are looking for a candidate who shares these values. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in wealth transfer, estate planning, trust administration, and probate, and must possess strong attention to detail, multi-tasking abilities, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns
- Electronically file probate court documents
- Proofread and draft legal documents with accuracy
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Utilize Microsoft Office and estate tax return software (GEMS and/or Prosystems preferred)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in wealth transfer, estate planning, trust administration, and probate
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estate tax return software
