Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
The Litigation Paralegal will support practicing litigation defense attorneys within the law firm. The role involves managing a variety of law office responsibilities with an emphasis on the discovery process. Key responsibilities include:

- Handling electronic filing requirements at state and federal courts in California.
- Conducting research and writing to support legal proceedings.
- Working proactively and independently, while also collaborating as part of a team.
- Forecasting and calendaring court filings and docket deadlines.
- Organizing, prioritizing, and implementing urgent tasks with a strong attention to detail.
- Drafting and responding to discovery requests.
- Providing excellent written and verbal communication.
- Remaining self-directed and motivated to effectively work under tight time constraints.
- Consistently creating and delivering quality work products.
- Demonstrating proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and PDF maker (Nuance or Adobe Pro).
- Navigating the internet efficiently.
- Experience with iManage is considered a plus.

Education and Experience Information:
The candidate should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a legal setting, particularly in litigation support. Experience in insurance defense is beneficial, though not mandatory. A Paralegal Certificate is preferred but not required.

Salary Information:
The salary range for the Litigation Paralegal position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
