Job Title: Medical Records Clerk
Job Responsibilities:
- Organize, file, and maintain physical and electronic records related to civil cases and departmental operations.
- Ensure all documents are accurately labeled, stored, and easily retrievable by authorized personnel.
- Review and verify the completeness of case files, ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable legal standards.
- Enter case and record data into database systems, updating files as needed.
- Retrieve and distribute case documents upon request to authorized staff, attorneys, or court officials.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper handling of sensitive information in accordance with departmental policies and public records laws.
- Collaborate with staff across departments to support records-related workflows and improve document management processes.
Education and Experience Information:
- Proficiency with records management systems and data entry software.
- Familiarity with civil procedures, document types, and case file organization.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, essential for accurate and consistent recordkeeping.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced office or legal environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with staff, attorneys, and the public.
- Understanding of confidentiality requirements and data protection best practices.
Salary Information:
- Pay: - per hour
- Expected hours: 40 per week
