Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing, assembling, and mailing immigration application packets and supporting documents to USCIS, EOIR, and other agencies.
- Review incoming mail and correspondence, sorting and distributing to the appropriate staff or attorneys.
- Meet with clients to assist in completing immigration forms and gathering necessary documentation.
- Support attorneys by organizing case files and ensuring all client paperwork is complete and accurate.
- Maintain client records and update case management systems regularly.
- Coordinate with clients regarding appointments, case status updates, and follow-up documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to the Office Manager and legal staff, including answering phones and responding to client inquiries.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive client information at all times.
Education and Experience Information:
- Prior experience in an immigration law office or legal administrative role preferred.
- Familiarity with immigration forms and procedures is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate and patient approach when working with clients.
- Comfortable meeting with clients and assisting them with form completion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, MyCase, INSZoom, Quickbooks.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Must be Bilingual (English-Spanish).
Salary Information:
- Pay: - per hour.
- Expected hours: 40 per week.
Benefits:
- Paid time off.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift.
- Monday to Friday.
Work Location: In person.
