Job Title: Receptionist/Legal Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and discretion.
- Answer and route high volumes of incoming calls in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Manage the office calendar and coordinate appointments using the scheduling system.
- Conduct initial lead intake calls and follow-up with prospective clients.
- Accurately enter and update lead information, call notes, and client status into the case management system.
- Maintain an organized, presentable reception area at all times.
- Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and staff as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client and firm matters.
- Assist with preparing welcome packets or documentation for new clients.
- As confidence and competence grow, additional responsibilities may be offered to contribute more broadly to administrative, client support, and office operations.
Education and Experience Information:
- 1 year of prior receptionist or front desk experience in a law firm required.
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to build rapport with clients in difficult emotional circumstances.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems (training will be provided on phone and calendaring software).
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain composure under pressure.
- Professional appearance and demeanor are a must.
- Spanish-speaking or multilingual candidates are a plus.
Salary Information:
- Pay: - per hour.
- Expected hours: 40 per week.
