Job Responsibilities

- Draft, review, and organize legal documents including contracts, policies, correspondence, internal memoranda, regulatory filings, discovery materials, and court forms and filings.
- Conduct legal and factual research across a variety of practice areas (., corporate, litigation, compliance, and regulatory matters), and prepare concise summaries, reports, or supporting materials for attorney review.
- Assist in contract drafting and management processes, including organizing agreements, tracking key terms and deadlines, and supporting review and revisions.
- Support litigation and regulatory matters by preparing discovery or other document productions, managing case files, compiling exhibits, coordinating schedules, and summarizing depositions or testimony when needed.
- Help prepare for meetings, presentations, negotiations, hearings, and other legal proceedings by gathering relevant information, creating supporting materials, and coordinating logistics.
- Communicate with internal and external parties (., clients, agencies, and vendors) to gather information, request documentation, and facilitate the smooth flow of legal operations.
- Maintain organized files and databases, track key deadlines, and assist with project management tasks to keep multiple matters moving forward simultaneously.
- Perform other legal and administrative support tasks as needed to assist attorneys in delivering high-quality, timely legal services.

Education and Experience Information

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a field that develops the skills required for this role.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working as a paralegal or in a similar role in a law firm, corporate legal department, or similar environment.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive, Calendar), along with document management tools and other business software, including basic accounting or billing systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear, concise, and professional documents.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, systems, and workflows.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or comparable platforms, with the ability to use them effectively for drafting, research, and workflow support.
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills, including the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and communicate findings clearly.
- Working knowledge of general office practices, including document management, file organization, and calendar tracking.

Salary Information

$50,000 a year - Full-time

Physical Requirements

- Ability to remain seated at a workstation for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone, and in virtual meetings.
- Must be able to listen actively and speak clearly in both one-on-one and group video settings.
