Law Firm is seeking an experienced and highly motivated legal secretary to join its Litigation Department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of legal secretarial/assistant experience in civil litigation, in both State and Federal Courts.
**Job Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and file legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, and contracts
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, court appearances, depositions, and other legal proceedings
- Maintain accurate and organized legal documents
- Assist attorneys in preparing for court hearings and trials
- Prepare and file court documents
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel
- Research legal issues and precedents
- Assist attorneys with various administrative tasks
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 3-5 years of legal secretarial/assistant experience
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Solid background of civil litigation experience
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment

- **Communicate with Clients, Witnesses, and Court Personnel**: The legal secretary must be able to effectively communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.

- **Assist Attorneys with Various Administrative Tasks**: The legal secretary must be able to assist attorneys with various administrative tasks.
