Job Title: Practice Group Marketing Specialist (Sponsorships)

Job Responsibilities:
The Practice Group Marketing Specialist (Sponsorships) will report to the Practice Group Marketing Manager and work closely with attorneys and other marketing team members to support marketing and business development activities within the Business (Corporate) Department. The primary objective of this role is to drive revenue and enhance the brand through identifying new business opportunities and client expansion programs, including pitches, events, and sponsorships. The responsibilities include:

- Developing and supporting marketing and business development plans in collaboration with the Practice Group Manager, Director of Marketing–Business Department, and other team members to align with the practice group’s Business Plan.
- Leading programs, events, and sponsorships to drive revenue and promote the law firm's brand.
- Guiding marketing strategies and tactics and acting as a liaison between the practice group and other marketing functions.
- Coordinating and leveraging practice group marketing activities with adjacent business development efforts across the firm.
- Creating pitch decks and tracking return on investment (ROI).
- Collaborating with marketing managers and partners to implement policies and procedures for business development initiatives, including proposal preparation, client presentations, sales pipeline management, and market development.
- Conducting business research and relationship searches.
- Coordinating business development training sessions and cross-selling pods.
- Serving as the point of contact for business development/sales support for attorneys in the practice group.
- Providing input and recommendations on marketing programs and budget spend as related to the business (corporate) department.
- Identifying, supporting, and managing networking, speaking, conference, and event sponsorship opportunities aligned with practice business plans.
- Acting as a relationship liaison with key business, industry, trade, and partnership organizations.
- Collaborating with communications and creative services teams to facilitate internal and external communications projects, including identifying media opportunities and managing thought leadership activities.
- Working with marketing team members to execute in-person and virtual events, client receptions, and alumni programs.
- Playing an integral role in planning and facilitating industry vertical signature events.
- Facilitating sponsorship execution and maximizing ROI.
- Driving, managing, tracking, and evaluating the ROI on various programming initiatives.
- Championing firm branding and related standards on creative services projects.
- Coordinating promotional items for marketing events.
- Serving as a subject matter expert in relevant industries and service lines, with a deep understanding of core clients, targets, and client buying patterns.
- Developing and maintaining marketing materials and collateral.
- Steering data using firm technologies and external research databases.
- Leading deal tracking and reporting efforts for the practice.
- Supporting lateral attorney orientation and onboarding.
- Modeling the use of the CRM tool (Salesforce) in managing sponsorships and events.
- Curating quarterly newsletters and deal sheets.
- Serving as a resource on the budget, including tracking key deadlines, ensuring timely invoice processing, tracking spend, and budget reporting.
- Creating metrics reports for Marketing Department leadership.
- Performing other duties as assigned or required.

Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, iManage, and other firm applications after orientation.
- Proficiency in firm marketing systems software, such as CRM tool (Salesforce), WordPress, and SCORE database, following training.
- Availability to work overtime as required.
- A minimum of 3 years of direct applicable experience in a marketing-related field.

Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, marketing, or a related field.
- Business development or sales experience.
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment, with knowledge of professional services industries.
- Project management experience and direct experience in creating and monitoring sales and business plans, goal tracking, and sales pipeline management.

Salary Information:
The expected hourly pay range for this position with a work schedule of 40 hours per week is between and , translating to an annual salary of $87,360 to $117,520. The final offer amount will depend on geographic location, applicable experience, and the candidate's skillset.
