Manager, Tax Legal Business Associate - Tax Technology Consulting
Job Responsibilities
As a Manager in the Tax Technology Consulting team within the department, the primary responsibilities include:
- Client Management: Oversee day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
- Delivery: Collaborate with a team to optimize legal processes by aligning legal software with specific client requirements and goals through technology.
- Solutions: Design and implement technology and innovative solutions to meet the needs of legal departments.
- Support: Provide training related to daily activities, processes, and various technologies or situational changes.
- Cross Functional Teaming: Comprehend and articulate the broader practice and the company's overall strategy. Maintain holistic client relationships.
- People Development: Act as a counselor and coach; participate in staffing processes and retention activities.
- Business Development: Develop and maintain contacts, lead pursuit teams, and contribute to business development.
Education and Experience Information
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with legal and/or technology solutions.
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Implementation experience with CLM software like Agiloft, SirionOne, or Icertis.
- Experience with document extraction tools, data wrangling tools such as Alteryx, and visualization/BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Experience with DocuSign CLM or Salesforce configuration.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, based on work and client needs.
- One of the following active accreditations:
- Licensed CPA if eligible.
- Licensed Attorney (or foreign equivalent), Enrolled Agent, PMP, CCM, CFA, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, Certified Change Management Professional, Certified Business Analysis Professional, Procurement/Legal Procurement, or SAS® Certified Data Scientist.
- Paralegal Certification with a 4-year degree.
- Other Technical Certifications such as Six Sigma, Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer, AWS, GCP, and various legal and contract management software certifications.
Preferred:
- Advanced Degree in relevant fields.
- Experience with template rationalization, guide or playbook creation, and designing contracting processes.
Salary Information
The wage range for this role considers various factors, including skills, experience, training, licensure, and certifications. The estimated range is $108,430 to $246,870. Compensation decisions are based on individual circumstances, and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range. Additionally, there is potential eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance.
