Job Title: Azure and Microsoft 365 Infrastructure Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
- Azure Infrastructure Management: Manage and secure the Azure cloud environment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to security best practices.
- Microsoft 365 Infrastructure Management: Oversee the Microsoft 365 E5 infrastructure, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, and Teams, to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures across Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms, focusing on identity and access management (IAM), threat protection, data loss prevention (DLP), and multi-factor authentication (MFA). Ensure compliance with relevant standards and frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.
- Collaboration and Support: Work collaboratively within the IT department to provide support and solutions for infrastructure-related issues.
- Monitoring, Reporting, and Documentation: Monitor system performance, generate reports, and maintain comprehensive documentation for the Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance infrastructure performance and security.

Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in managing Microsoft cloud infrastructure, including Entra ID, virtual machines, storage, and networking.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 services.
- Expertise in using PowerShell and other automation tools to manage environments.
- Experience with security tools such as Azure Security Center and Microsoft Defender.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and integration between on-premise systems and Azure/Microsoft 365 services.
- Familiarity with third-party security solutions for Azure and Microsoft 365.

Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for cloud-based infrastructure and services.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Work Environment:
This is a full-time position offering flexible work options, including remote or hybrid work opportunities. The role may require on-call support for critical incidents and occasional weekend work.
