Job Title: Legal Secretary-Litigation

Job Responsibilities:
The Legal Secretary-Litigation at the law firm is responsible for a variety of duties that support the litigation team. This includes preparing draft court documents such as complaints, answers, discovery, briefs, motions, motions for summary judgment, correspondence, and memos. The role involves preparing for trials as needed, organizing and maintaining documents and case files, and handling the mailing, faxing, or arranging for delivery of legal correspondence to clients, witnesses, and court officials. The candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrate extreme attention to detail, organization, and follow-through skills. Coordinating complex scheduling for multiple individuals and managing multiple deadlines and priorities under pressure is essential. The candidate must maintain strict confidentiality and be skilled at typing correspondence and pleadings for attorneys. Strong interpersonal skills are also required.

Education and Experience Information:
The position requires a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Litigation Secretary. The candidate should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and various legal software applications. Familiarity with both state and federal court filings and E-filing experience is necessary. The candidate must be detail-oriented with great spelling and grammar skills and have a positive attitude with the ability to adapt to a fast-moving environment.

Salary Information:
The base annual pay range for the Legal Secretary-Litigation role at the law firm is between $85,000 and $96,000. The base pay offered will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location and will also consider internal equity. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits dependent on the position will also be offered.
