Job Title: Right of Way Tech 2
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform mid-level technical services for right-of-way projects as required by the assignment, including project coordination.
- Order and review titles, perform title curative duties, provide detailed property research, and prepare acquisition and document packages that are certification-ready.
- Coordinate closing, settlement, and condemnation packages, and manage document recordings.
- Input data, maintain tracking and parcel status database, and prepare client reports.
- Often work closely with agents under the direction of a Project Manager.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Education and Experience Information:
- Preferred Qualifications:
- AA Degree or equivalent experience.
- Certification pertaining to right of way, title, paralegal, real property law, or mortgage lending, or equivalent experience.
- Specific industry regulatory knowledge.
- Familiarity with Database, ProjectWise, and GIS.
- Proficiency with MS Teams.
- Local candidates preferred.
- Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with right of way, title, paralegal, real property law, or mortgage lending.
- Ability to understand real estate documents such as appraisal, environmental, survey, deeds, easements, deeds of trust, mechanics liens, tax liens, judgments, court records, assessments, probates, and other matters of record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid organizational and planning skills.
- Specific industry regulatory knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with Database, ProjectWise, and GIS is a plus.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Webex, and Teams.
