Job Title: Paralegal
Job Responsibilities
- Support dispute and litigation management documentation and processes under attorney supervision.
- Draft, review, and revise contracts, corporate documents, correspondence, and other legal materials under attorney supervision.
- Organize, track, and manage contracts and legal documentation, implement contract databases, ensuring proper execution, version control, and storage.
- Support corporate governance efforts, including legal entity filings and other related matters as needed.
- Conduct legal research on regulatory, corporate, and compliance matters as needed.
- Assist with due diligence activities, audits, and compliance reporting.
- Maintain department files, calendars, task lists, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Help prepare responses to subpoenas, information requests, and legal claims.
- Support confidentiality agreements (NDAs), customer and vendor contracts, and other transactional matters.
- Assist compliance and internal corporate policies.
- Perform other administrative duties and special projects for the Chief Legal Officer as needed.
Education and Experience Information
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
- Paralegal Certification (from an ABA-approved program) preferred.
- 8-10 years of Paralegal experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Strong knowledge of contract management, corporate governance, and legal compliance processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), legal research, and document management systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial companies is a plus but not required.
