Job Title: Associate Director - Commercial Counsel
Location: Malvern, PA; New Jersey - Woodcliff Lake
Employment Type: Full time, Regular
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Experience: Minimum eight years senior level experience with customer contracting at law firms, corporate legal departments, or other service providers required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide timely legal counsel on commercial matters for the . Sterile Injectable and Generics business unit
- Strategically and efficiently lead, coordinate, facilitate and manage contract requests for customer agreements
- Manage adherence to contract management process and utilize legal department's contract management tool
- Provide commercial and regulatory counsel and support on commercial initiatives and promotional labeling through MARC review process
- Assist with development and creation of policies, standards, and procedures for contract management
- Act as advisor for commercial contract management processes with strong project management skills
- Provide legal advice and counsel to business colleagues to manage risk with contract-related matters
- Assist with other special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Bar admission in New Jersey and Pennsylvania preferred
- Minimum eight years senior level experience with customer contracting
- Previous attorney position at law firm, corporate legal department or other relevant service provider
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical contracting across various commercial business segments
- Understanding of laws and regulations applicable to pharmaceutical marketing and commercialization
- Understanding of contracts management programs and requirements
- Strong written and negotiation skills
- Excellent judgment and ability to make concrete recommendations
- Leadership abilities coupled with strong personal accountability and initiative
- Ability to multitask under pressure
- Excellent organizational, planning, prioritization and problem-solving skills
- Excellent client relationship skills
- Superior technical communication skills
