Salary Information:
The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Title:
Business Development Manager - Litigation
Experience Information:
- Bachelor's degree and five or more years of business development and/or marketing experience within a law firm or comparable professional services organization
- A minimum of five years of experience in marketing, business and practice development in a law firm including pitches and RFP’s
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business plans and marketing strategies for assigned practice groups
- Drive client targeting and opportunities through RFPs, pitches, and account management
- Lead and mentor junior colleagues
- Manage and implement conferences, events, and other marketing initiatives
- Ensure consistency of branding and messaging
- Collaborate across departments and offices to identify revenue-generating opportunities
- Assist with budget planning and forecasting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Five or more years of business development and/or marketing experience in a law firm or professional services organization
- Strong project management skills
- Strategic thinker with understanding of branding and messaging
- Self-starter with ability to balance long-term vision with day-to-day implementation
- Experience with knowledge management tools preferred
- Technology-savvy with ability to learn new programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Willingness to travel as needed
