Overview
McGuireWoods LLP is seeking a highly qualified Paralegal Manager to join our team. This position will oversee the Firm's corporate paralegals and serve as a firm-wide resource on paralegals and legal support. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism. This is a full-time position with a hybrid remote work option and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee corporate paralegals, case assistants, and legal support employees
- Coordinate work assignments and monitor utilization
- Develop and administer training and development programs for paralegals and legal support
- Maintain and update program documents and training materials
- Generate and analyze management reports
- Cultivate positive relationships with department chairs and paralegal coordinators
- Direct the work of direct reports and make hiring and termination decisions
- Perform additional duties as directed
