Job Title: Paralegal Supervisor

Company is seeking an experienced Paralegal Supervisor to join its dynamic team, supporting the Department of Justice in prosecuting Financial Fraud crimes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for paralegals aiming to develop management skills while gaining invaluable litigation experience across various phases of the EDRM spectrum. The Paralegal Supervisor will oversee a team of law clerks and paralegals providing direct support to Federal prosecutors.

Job Responsibilities:

- Direct and supervise the work of paralegals and other support staff.
- Perform complex legal and factual research using Relativity and other eDiscovery software.
- Interact with staff and DOJ case teams for planning and executing project requirements, schedules, and litigation support activities.
- Monitor work and report on the progress of investigative and support tasks.
- Ensure staff and support team deliver work that meets contract and attorney requirements on time.
- Troubleshoot and perform quality control spot-checks.
- Formulate administrative and technical procedures to ensure work/tasks are completed efficiently.
- Report to Project Supervisor or Project Manager and interact significantly with COR, Government Case Manager, trial attorneys, client agency staff, and opposing counsel.
- Design and develop systems for tracking, controlling, and managing case files, exhibits, and other case-specific materials.
- Assist trial staff in coordination with expert witnesses and litigation consultants.
- Arrange access to appropriate DOJ libraries and other legal research facilities.
- Coordinate with other contractor support staff components, including data processing support staff, to accomplish work.

Education and Experience Information:

Required:

- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience in automated litigation support, or JD, or currently attending ABA-accredited law school with at least one year of study completed. Equivalent legal training or experience may be substituted.
- Supervisory experience with proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
- Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.
- Hands-on familiarity with various computer applications, including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and imaging.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work under extreme pressure in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused, professional, and congenial attitude for working with staff and government clients.

Desired:

- Paralegal Certificate.
- eDiscovery experience with Relativity and other eDiscovery tools used throughout the EDRM process and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications and/or completed training courses in project management, eDiscovery, or other litigation support subject matter areas.

Salary Information:

The proposed salary range for this position is $78,700 - $165,200. Salary is influenced by factors such as geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
