Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant The candidate will be drafting format for pleadings, such as Answers and Motions, Preparing, serving and answering format for written discovery demands and responses, including but not limited to Interrogatories and Notice to Produce, Drafting legal documents, correspondence and/or pleadings, Experience in preparing trademark applications, preliminary clearance searches and filing responses to Office Actions and TTAB actions a plus, Preparing/serving letters to clients, including invoices for legal services, Maintaining calendar; scheduling and confirming deposition dates and follow-up of all deadlines, E-filing documents in State, Federal and Appellate Courts in New York and New Jersey in particular, Knowledge of New Jersey and New York state and federal litigation procedure and discovery deadlines a plus, Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Ability to follow directions and ask for guidance if not understood, Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines, Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Zoom, Prior experience a plus.
