Job Title: Senior Manager, Washington National Tax - Incentives/Credits
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide tax consulting services to a diverse range of clients, focusing on major multinational clients at a national level.
- Collaborate with tax professionals across various offices within the company to deliver comprehensive tax advice to clients.
- Work in conjunction with other practice groups in the Washington National Tax (WNT) department and coordinate with international member firms.
- Conduct thorough tax research to support and validate tax advice, assessing the technical merits of tax positions.
- Assist in the preparation and review of various deliverables such as memorandums, opinions, private letter ruling requests, and decks related to transactions.
- Develop training materials and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.
- Specialize in specific areas of . taxation, which may include International, Corporate, Passthroughs (including Partnerships, REITs, and S corporations), Incentives and Credits, Methods of Accounting, Financial Products, Tax-Exempt, Practice and Procedure, State and Local Tax, and Legislative and Regulatory matters.
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of five years of recent tax experience in an accounting firm, law firm, or private industry is required.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is necessary.
- Candidates must be licensed as a CPA, EA, or hold a JD/LLM, among other approved credentials. Individuals without at least one of the approved designations/credentials at the time of employment have one year from their date of hire to obtain one.
- Demonstrated ability to lead other professionals, work independently, and manage complex workloads is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, with a willingness to develop new skills with generative AI being desirable.
Additional Qualifications for Senior Manager:
- A minimum of seven years of recent tax experience in an accounting firm, law firm, or private industry is necessary.
Salary Information:
- The company complies with all local and state regulations regarding the display of salary ranges. Any offered salary is determined based on factors such as the applicant's skills, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and market considerations.

- Personal Time Off is provided per fiscal year, with two firmwide breaks annually where employees are not required to use Personal Time Off.
- California Salary Range: $180,700 - $384,100.
