Job Title: Senior Director, International Tax

Job Responsibilities:

- Provide tax consulting services to public and private multinational clients, focusing on the tax implications of international operations. This includes business operating model optimization, supply chain planning, intellectual property migration, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and internal restructurings.
- Identify complex tax issues, provide detailed tax analysis and recommendations, and assist with the design and implementation of comprehensive global tax restructuring and planning strategies.
- Review and manage MS Excel-based computations and models related to international tax computations, including projections and modeling of various scenarios for proposed planning.
- Oversee the preparation and review of international tax opinions and memorandums.
- Manage international tax compliance and accounting for income taxes.
- Collaborate with the Global Tax network and other service lines, including Transfer Pricing, to deliver high-quality integrated work products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their business needs, identifying tax opportunities, offering proactive support, and providing exceptional client service.
- Manage risk, staffing, and financial performance for multiple engagements, including billing, collections, profitability, and project budgets.
- Provide leadership, counseling, and career guidance through mentoring and performance feedback to the engagement team.
- Build relationships across the Tax department and other departments within the company, developing a deep understanding of the areas of expertise across the firm to present clients with opportunities for additional support.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all aspects of the practice.
- Actively pursue business development opportunities and prioritize sources for new relationships.

Education and Experience Information:

- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law (.).
- Licensed CPA or Licensed Attorney.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience providing international tax planning, preferably in professional services (Big 4 experience or other consulting experience is preferred).
- At least 4 years of experience managing teams and engagements.
- A passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing teams.
- Proven experience working as a trusted advisor to clients, with a demonstrated ability to help clients understand and interpret analysis, deliverables, and recommendations.
- Prior proven experience in leading others while managing risk, staffing, and financial performance for multiple engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish credibility and influence clients.
- A self-starter with a high degree of intellectual curiosity, initiative to seek out opportunities, and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to run large, complex engagements while overseeing multiple teams and ensuring excellence.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in written documentation of tax issues and analysis, such as drafting technical memoranda, step-plans, and tax opinion letters.

Salary Information:

The salary range for the Senior Director, International Tax position is between $175,000 and $225,000 annually. This is dependent on several variables, including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, the company offers a discretionary bonus program based on several factors, including individual and firm performance.
