Job Title: Tax Director - Private Companies

Job Responsibilities:
The Tax Director for Private Companies at Company is responsible for assisting private companies with a variety of business advisory needs, including audit, tax compliance, and planning, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and allowing more time to focus on business strategy. The role involves experiencing the entire business life cycle of a private company from inception to growth, maturity, and transition. The responsibilities include:

- Supporting the team to disrupt, improve, and evolve ways of working when necessary.
- Arranging and sponsoring appropriate assignments and experiences to help individuals realize their potential and support their long-term aspirations.
- Identifying gaps in the market and spotting opportunities to create value propositions.
- Looking for opportunities to scale efficiencies and new ways of working across multiple projects and environments.

The Tax Director is also expected to lead in providing innovative tax advisory services, using technical knowledge, specialization, and industry insights to address clients' needs. The role requires working with a team of problem solvers to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Education and Experience Information:
The basic qualifications for the Tax Director position include:

- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 8 years

Certification(s) Required:
The position requires CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials.

Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred knowledge and skills for this role include:

- Demonstrating thought leader-level knowledge and a proven record of success in assisting companies to understand and assess the tax impact of company business, operations, and transactions in multiple jurisdictions.
- Applying deep understanding of tax compliance and consulting for various entities, including corporations, partnerships, pass-through entities, and Subchapter S corporations.
- Demonstrating technical prowess with ASC740.
- Identifying and addressing client needs and developing and sustaining client relationships.
- Using networking, negotiation, and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities.
- Preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials.
- Defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collection.
- Leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction, and motivate members.
- Creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views, coaching staff, and encouraging improvement and innovation.

Salary Information:
The salary range for the Tax Director position is $140,900 - $434,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. The actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. Company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, holiday pay, vacation, personal and family sick leave, among others.
