Job Title: Senior Paralegal – Real Estate & Rural Land Transactions
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and revise real estate transaction documents, including deeds, contracts, easements, title and survey review memoranda, and closing documents
- Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, and opposing counsel to facilitate closings
- Manage deadlines, organize case files, and maintain accurate documentation
- Perform legal research and prepare summaries as needed
- Assist attorneys in preparation for client meetings, closings, and hearings
- Maintain excellent communication with clients and external partners
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations related to rural property and land use
Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong focus on real estate transactions
- Significant drafting experience involving rural land, easements, and title/survey review
- Strong understanding of Texas property and real estate law
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; experience with legal practice software is a plus
- Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited program preferred
