Job Title: Administrative/Legal Assistant (CSC)
Job Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact: Answer calls warmly and professionally, assist clients with inquiries, and schedule appointments for attorneys.
- Onboard New Clients Seamlessly: Manage the new client intake process, ensuring a positive first impression and a smooth start to their legal journey.
- Ensure Smooth Client Communication: Follow up on appointments, reschedule as needed, and maintain communication between clients and the legal team.
- Maintain a Welcoming Environment: Organize and maintain the waiting area and conference room for client comfort.
- Be a Team Player: Collaborate with the team to handle tasks such as copying, filing, scanning, maintaining the firm's CRM, and managing client files.
- Streamline Daily Operations: Sort incoming mail and deliveries, prepare outgoing mail, and assist with workshop preparation.
- Travel to Training & Events: Attend training events and industry gatherings as needed to expand knowledge.
- Gain Legal Expertise (On the Job!): Assist with preparing correspondence and legal documents under attorney review, gaining insights into the legal field.
- Become a Client Advocate: Communicate effectively with attorneys regarding client needs and questions, ensuring their voices are heard.
- Embrace New Challenges: Take ownership of various projects and tasks assigned by the attorney, fostering professional development.

Education and Experience Information:
- Education: A high school diploma is required, and an associate degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of customer service or administrative experience.
- Communication: Exceptional written (grammar, punctuation, spelling, and proofreading) and verbal communication skills are required. This includes possessing outstanding phone skills and the ability to interact with clients, staff, and visitors with patience, empathy, and active listening.
- Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and a willingness to learn new software.
- Team Player: Must be collaborative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion Assured: Ability to maintain confidentiality in a sensitive environment.
- Driver's License & Reliable Transportation: Required for occasional travel.
Salary Information:
- Pay Rate: $18 - $22 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- FLSA Status: Non-exempt
- Hours Per Week: 40 Hours
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
