Job Title: Business Development Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the business development communications team in cultivating business with current and prospective clients, promoting the law firm and its personnel.
- Prepare and produce proposals, pitch materials, RFPs, and client presentations under the guidance of the business development management team.
- Collaborate with the business development team and Client Event Planner to execute special events, including social/networking events, webinars, receptions, and group sporting events.
- Coordinate and develop submissions for key directories, including Chamber, Best Law Firm, and Best Lawyers in America.
- Manage the process for collecting matter data for inclusion in the Experience Database.
- Coordinate the creation of an internal business development newsletter.
- Assist with the distribution of client alerts and thought leadership pieces.
- Track and report outcomes of business development activities, such as RFPs and pitches.
- Draft, edit, and proofread content and coordinate the production of final materials.
- Create and submit business development check requests and process expense reimbursements for the department.
- Maintain the business development team calendar.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in business development/marketing, professional services, and/or a law firm environment.
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and comply with deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work extended hours to meet deadlines is required.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team dynamic.
- Demonstrate a positive and can-do attitude.
- Must be a team player, willing to assist other team members during peak times.
- Strong communication skills, including interpersonal skills, articulate communication, and effective use of written and spoken grammar.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work directly with attorneys and staff as required.
- Possess basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to operate and navigate various systems utilized by the law firm.
