**Job Title: Sr. Legal Specialist - Office of Health Mart**
**Job Responsibilities:**
The Sr. Legal Specialist will be a pivotal member of the company, engaging in a variety of complex legal and business matters within the Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services segment. The responsibilities include:
- Providing support for Health Mart Atlas, a pharmacy services administrative organization, which involves:
- Membership and service contracting with diverse pharmacies, such as hospital-affiliated and physician-owned pharmacies.
- Assisting with negotiations and renewals of payor and Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) agreements.
- Reviewing and tracking legislation related to PBMs and Pharmacy Services Administrative Organizations (PSAOs).
- Drafting and negotiating business associate agreements and other formal arrangements.
- Supporting retail pharmacy franchise operations for Health Mart, which includes:
- Franchise contracting for independent pharmacies.
- Service agreement contracting with hospital-affiliated pharmacies.
- Vendor contracting with partners providing clinical, administrative, or operational services through the Health Mart franchise.
- Assisting with community pharmacy marketing activities, including social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Collaborating effectively with business colleagues to understand commercial objectives and reflect them into agreements and supporting materials.
- Managing multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently, thriving in a dynamic and innovative environment.
- Coordinating and collaborating with Legal and Compliance colleagues.
**Education and Experience Information:**
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant Paralegal experience is required.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts is essential.
- Healthcare regulatory experience, particularly relating to and drafting Business Associate Agreements, is necessary.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with senior executives.
- Excellent interpersonal and research skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Superior ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an efficient and timely manner.
- A highly responsive, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach is expected.
- Strong collaboration skills, excellent business judgment, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a collegial, fast-paced team environment.
- A thirst for learning and a willingness to engage in special projects and ad hoc assignments, including research and contract review and drafting.
**Additional Knowledge & Skills:**
- Experience working in a healthcare regulatory environment is preferred, including knowledge of Federal Anti-Kickback Laws.
**Salary Information:**
The company offers a competitive compensation package as part of its Total Rewards. The base pay range for this position is between $90,000 and $150,000. This range is determined by factors such as performance, experience, skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to the base pay, other compensation such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
