The Assistant Manager, Business Development - Restructuring at a prestigious law firm is responsible for supporting the business development initiatives for the Firm’s global Restructuring practice area and lawyers. This role supports all business development initiatives across the Restructuring practice, including pitches, proposals, and research and analysis about clients, competitors, markets and industries. This position also supports the implementation of strategic plans for successful growth and consistency in key business initiatives for the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting customized pitches, responses to RFPs, and other marketing materials for new business opportunities and client meetings
- Conduct research and analysis on clients, competitors, markets, trends, and industries
- Maintain website content, attorney biographies, practice group descriptions, and other business development and communications materials
- Manage the firm’s engagement database and related channels
- Prepare and submit directory submissions and survey responses for various legal and business directories/publications
- Perform various business, administrative, and operational support functions related to business development strategies, marketing, communications, policies, procedures, and initiatives
- Coordinate advertising and promotional materials with the Graphic Designer and outside vendors
- Assist in coordinating firm-sponsored events, webinars, presentations, and event logistics
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across departments and offices
- Support business development projects and other firm initiatives as needed

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years as a practicing attorney or 5 years of business development experience
- Familiarity with Content Pilot’s suite of products or other experience database preferred
- Prior experience developing awards submissions or in marketing and business development at a law firm
- Experience with website maintenance and/or Client Relationship Management (CRM) system
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Major in Marketing, English, Communications, Advertising, or related field preferred
Salary Information:
The estimated base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $180,000 at the time of posting. Actual salary offered will depend on various factors, including qualifications, experience, education, and location. This role is exempt and not eligible for overtime pay.
