Job Title:
Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with the preparation of a civil case for trial
- Manage discovery and records
- Summarize medical and employment records, create medical chronologies, and summarize discovery responses
- Prepare meet and confer correspondence
- Write motions, such as oppositions to motions including discovery motions, and motions to continue trial
- Proficiently use software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints with minimal supervision and exceptional attention to detail
Education and Experience Information:
- 5-10 years of paralegal experience in a law firm
- Civil litigation experience is required
- Familiarity with performing research tasks using web-based legal research services
- Experience working with paperless files; iManage experience is a plus
- Must successfully pass a background/drug screen
- Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program are required
Salary Information:
- The minimum salary is per hour, and the maximum salary is per hour
