Merchant & Gould, a top intellectual property law firm, is looking for a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Attorney to join our Chemical & Life Sciences practice group. This is a full-time position that can be based in any of our office locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and prosecute patent applications for small molecule pharmaceutical products
- Assist in drafting opinions related to pharmaceutical products
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide effective legal solutions
Qualifications:
- Law school graduate before 2020
- 1-4 years of experience in small molecule pharmaceutical products
- Undergraduate degree in chemistry
- PhD or masters in organic chemistry preferred but not required
Salary Information:
- Base salary based on an 1850 billable hour target
- Discretionary merit bonus based on performance
- Hiring range of $200k - $280k depending on experience level
