Job Title: Real Estate Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
The Real Estate Assistant will be an integral member of the team at the law firm, working within the Real Estate group. The primary responsibilities of the role include:
- Performing title and survey reviews for commercial real estate and finance transactions.
- Communicating effectively with attorneys, clients, local governmental units, title companies, and surveyors.
- Drafting closing documents, signature documents, and title resolution documents.
- Tracking transactions and coordinating closings to ensure smooth execution.
- Ordering and reviewing title searches, surveys, zoning letters, and conducting other real estate due diligence.
- Forming/registering entities, preparing UCCs, and reviewing zoning reports.
- Performing other duties as may be requested but not explicitly mentioned above.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates interested in the Real Estate Assistant position should have:
- At least 2 years of experience in commercial real estate, which is preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of commercial real estate and finance transactions.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Proven analytical ability, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
- The willingness and ability to work overtime if needed.
Salary Information:
For applicants from Minnesota and Colorado, the pay range for this position is to per hour. For applicants from Seattle, the pay range is to per hour. This range represents the law firm's good faith estimate of likely compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will depend on various factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location, and may fall outside of the range indicated.
