We are looking for a Business Development Coordinator to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our global Business Development team, providing support for various tasks including financial reporting, proposal development, marketing collateral creation, event planning, client research, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting: Work with BDM group leadership and related firm resources on financial planning, analysis, and reporting related to department budgets.
- Prepare and monitor BDM departmental budgets.
- Handle budget/expense reporting process and coding.
- Train new members of the firm on the budget/expense process.
- Process BD expenses and invoices in a timely manner.
- Manage the firm's public intranet page(s) and private group page(s), ensuring information is current and easily accessible.
- Oversee the functionality and content of intranet/SharePoint calendars used to track time off for the BDM team.
- Seek team input and provide suggestions for capturing training materials, best practices, and other resources.
- Assist with new team member onboarding.
- Support RFPs, proposals, and other client-focused revenue growth opportunities.
- Manage and track pitch and proposal activity for the practices.
- Coordinate and plan successful Firm events with relevant BD managers and office staff.
- Develop and produce event-related promotional materials.
- Coordinate with vendors for branded giveaways and other display materials.
- Assist with post-event follow-up and lead generation tracking.
- Coordinate with Legal Personnel on submitting CLE credit for events.
- Update practice group materials and collateral for pitch meetings.
- Manage submission process for directories, awards, and surveys.
- Assist with presentations and other materials.
- Conduct detailed client research for business development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Associates' degree (Bachelors' degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience in a professional/law firm, trade association, company, or agency.
- Fluency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
