Job Title: Asset & Wealth Management - Renewable Energy Tax Senior Manager

Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior Manager in the Financial Services Tax practice within the Corporate Tax services, the candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties aimed at helping clients navigate their tax obligations and manage the impact of taxes on their business. The role involves:

- Advising clients on local and international tax affairs, acting as a strategic consultant for business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners.
- Assisting organizations in understanding the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties and advising on the tax implications of business deals.
- Helping Financial Services clients navigate the complex national and international tax environment, which includes stringent capital requirements, managing operational tax risks, and the tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions.
- Providing tax structuring solutions to clients to address the challenges of the continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally.
- Encouraging team members to express their opinions, dealing effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems, and initiating open and candid coaching conversations.
- Anticipating stakeholder needs and developing potential solutions proactively.
- Contributing technical knowledge in the area of specialization and fostering an environment where people and technology thrive together.
- Navigating the complexities of cross-border and diverse teams and engagements.
- Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Additional responsibilities include working with some of the world's largest renewable energy companies to develop and implement innovative tax solutions, especially in light of recent legislative changes such as the Inflation Reduction Act. The role also involves leveraging technology to enhance tax advisory services through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies.

Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Field of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years
- Certification Required: CPA, Member of the Bar, or other relevant tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
The ideal candidate should demonstrate in-depth knowledge and experience in:

- Compliance and consulting for investment partnerships, including hedge funds, mutual funds, and private equity funds.
- Structuring of funds and fund management companies to limit tax liability.
- Alternative investment strategies and vehicles.
- Tax technical skills, including partnership tax forms and renewable energy industry tax matters such as tax credits and fixed asset depreciation.
- Innovation through new and existing technologies, experimenting with digitization solutions, and working with large, complex data sets to provide insights to clients.
- Pricing strategy and alternative fee arrangements.
- Building and maintaining networks of client relationships and community involvement.
- Managing project workflow, budgets, billing, and collections, and preparing complex written and verbal materials.
- Leading teams to create an atmosphere of trust, encouraging diverse views, and providing meaningful feedback.

Salary Information:
The salary range for the Asset & Wealth Management - Renewable Energy Tax Senior Manager position is $124,000 - $335,000. Additionally, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
