Job Title: Federal Tax Senior Manager - Financial Services Organization - GCR/Insurance

Job Responsibilities:
As a Federal Tax Senior Manager within the Financial Services Organization at the company, the candidate will engage in a variety of responsibilities aimed at supporting the Insurance Tax practice. The key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing financial statement audits and reviewing tax returns.
- Managing client relationships, which involves building and maintaining professional relationships with key client employees, managing staffing and engagement economics, and analyzing engagement results to ensure exceptional client service.
- Leading a team of professionals with self-motivation and critical thinking to identify new business opportunities at client sites.
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and providing income tax support for audits, specifically for insurance companies and C Corporations.

Education and Experience Information:
To qualify for the role, the candidate must possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of tax experience.
- Certification as a CPA or a licensed Attorney.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and SSAP 101.
- At least 5-6 years of experience in preparing and reviewing 1120, 1120 PC, 1120 L, and consolidated group returns.
- Ideally, candidates will also have direct experience in state and local taxation, SEC experience, and proven experience in managing teams and client relationships.

Salary Information:
The position offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package. The base salary range for this job across all geographic locations in the US is $129,300 to $295,700. Specifically, for the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the base salary range is $155,200 to $335,900. Individual salaries within these ranges are determined by various factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. The Total Rewards package also includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
