Job Title: Billing Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
The Billing Analyst at the law firm is responsible for a variety of billing and collection activities under the supervision of the Billing Supervisor. Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing and processing monthly invoices
- Reviewing and processing all billing transactions
- Timely processing and reconciling of accounts receivables
- Identifying and collecting past due balances
- Contacting clients to explain and resolve billing/payment discrepancies
- Working with attorneys and office supervisors to maintain compliance with client billing guidelines
- Providing timely and effective customer service to clients for requests, inquiries, or issues concerning any items with their accounts
- Monitoring the status of submitted invoices through the eBilling process and removing obstacles when appropriate until payment is received
- Maintaining processing cycle time standards and production due dates as set forth by management
- Training team members
- Performing all other duties or tasks as needed

Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate for the Billing Analyst position should possess the following skills and experience:

- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized while working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate with attorneys and clients
- Intermediate level proficiency in Excel
- Experience doing data entry into computerized systems and databases
- Willingness to train team members
- Internally driven
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Prior billing/collection experience
- Prior e-billing experience utilizing software such as Tymetrix, Legal X, Collaborati, Legal Solution Suites, Legal Case Cost, and Counsellink, among others
- College degree (business-oriented degree preferred) or equivalent work experience

Additional Attributes:
- Experience with Tabs3/Practice Master software is desirable
- Experience with eBilling Hub

Salary Information:
The salary range for the Billing Analyst position is to hourly.
