Law Firm Latham & Watkins is looking for a highly experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our team and support our Global Litigation & Trial practice. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $145,000 - $170,000 per year.

About the Role

As the Business Development Manager for Global Litigation & Trial, you will work closely with our IP Litigation practice and other departments to develop and implement strategic plans for the group. You will also collaborate with attorneys, business development colleagues, and other departments to achieve overall business development goals. This role can be based in our New York, Washington, ., or Chicago office, and may offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

As the BD Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the IP Litigation practice and other Litigation & Trial practice groups. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Advising and supporting department and practice group leadership in developing and enhancing client relationships
- Assisting with client retention and cross-selling programs
- Creating and overseeing plans, programs, and budgets to support practice and client goals
- Identifying thought leadership opportunities and overseeing their implementation
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of marketing principles, strong leadership skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities. You should also have a bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience in business development and marketing in a legal or professional services setting.
