Job Title: Antitrust Associate

Job Responsibilities:
The Antitrust Associate will be a key member of the Antitrust Team within the Business Litigation practice at the law firm. The primary responsibilities include representing national and international clients in various stages of federal and state antitrust matters. This encompasses involvement in:

- DOJ/FTC investigations
- Civil and class action litigation
- Counseling on antitrust issues
- Review and clearance of M&A transactions

The role demands active participation in complex legal processes and requires the associate to manage multiple tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring compliance with relevant legal standards and practices.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must possess two to four years of experience, having graduated from law school between the years 2021 to 2023. The ideal candidate will have a background in government or law firm environments with specific expertise in antitrust areas such as:

- Investigations/litigation
- M&A/merger clearance
- Counseling

Experience with the Department of Justice (DOJ) or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is highly preferred. Additional experience with Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) matters, state attorneys general, depositions, or oral arguments is considered advantageous. Candidates should have excellent academic credentials and demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, writing, and analytical skills. An active membership in the Washington, DC bar is mandatory.

Salary Information:
The anticipated initial annual salary for this position in the Washington, . office ranges from $235,000 to $280,000. Compensation varies based on relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, including the location of the position. This salary range is part of a comprehensive compensation and benefits package offered by the law firm, which includes productivity and discretionary bonuses, life, health, accident and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
