The firm is looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who is capable of independently handling diverse and complex coverage and insurance bad faith matters. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take on a leadership role in training junior lawyers and managing the practice.

Our Coverage and Insurance Bad Faith Practice

- One of nine practice groups within the firm
- Leader in handling high-stakes coverage and insurance bad faith disputes since 1988
- Represented both insurers and insureds across the country
- Experienced in handling complex and fast-moving matters with a mix of coverage, liability, and bad faith issues
- Clients often require representation in courtrooms and mediation rooms in various jurisdictions

Responsibilities

- Conduct extensive review of background materials
- Research and analyze local law
- Prepare detailed analysis letters and recommendations
- Draft position letters, such as declinations and RORs
- Prosecute coverage and rescission actions

Requirements

- Minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience in insurance coverage and bad faith work
- Demonstrated excellence in analysis and drafting
- Experience in litigating coverage and bad faith suits
- Excellent client-interface skills
- Interest in training and developing junior lawyers for the coverage group
