Job Responsibilities:
The Workers Compensation Case Manager at the law firm is responsible for a variety of tasks essential to the smooth operation of the legal office, particularly in the area of personal injury and workers' compensation law. The key duties include:
- Client Intake: Manage the intake process for new clients, ensuring all necessary information is gathered efficiently and accurately.
- Mail Management: Open and scan all incoming mail to ensure proper documentation and timely responses.
- Court Calendar Maintenance: Maintain and update the court calendar to keep track of important dates and deadlines.
- Communication: Write letters, send emails, and make phone calls to clients to keep them informed about their cases. Answer incoming phone calls and provide assistance as needed.
- Medical Records: Order and organize medical records as part of case preparation and management.
- File Organization: Maintain organized and up-to-date files for each case.
- Discovery: Experience with responding to discovery requests is considered a plus.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Workers Compensation Case Manager position must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a legal administrative role is required.
- Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills to effectively interact with clients.
- Being organized, energetic, dependable, mature, a quick learner, and hard-working are essential qualities for this role.
- Spanish language proficiency is required to assist Spanish-speaking clients.
- Reliable transportation is necessary to commute to the office and perform job duties.
Salary Information:
The salary for the Workers Compensation Case Manager position at the law firm ranges from to per hour. The job is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour shift.
