Responsibilities:

- Provide support to litigation attorneys, including research, document retrieval, and service of process
- Perform electronic court filings for state, federal district, and appellate courts
- Review incoming and outgoing court documents to ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
- Track critical dates and communicate information with attorneys and staff
- Search cases using software and internet resources as necessary
- Assist with other administrative projects and provide general back-up support as needed

Qualifications:

- Understanding of court docketing and calendaring procedures
- Familiarity with court filings and general rules of court for processing pleadings
- Experience with federal, state, and local court systems, including electronic filing systems
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment

Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years prior experience in litigation docketing desired
- Experience working in a large law firm highly desired
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
