Job Title: Legal Project Manager - Corporate

Job Responsibilities:
- Work on client matters and deals as a core part of the client team, recording time against those matters.
- Track workstreams, collaborate with clients, monitor resourcing, manage budgets, and integrate innovative solutions into large and complex projects.
- Establish strong relationships with Practice Area Leaders, Practice Area Managers, Business Development, and other internal stakeholders to understand and address stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with Legal Project Manager colleagues globally and work closely with other members of the business professional community including Legal Technology Advisors, Resource Managers, and Transformation Specialists.
- Support partners in delivering outstanding project management on complex legal matters.
- Assist with the preparation of project initiation documentation, including scope, resourcing, and budget proposals, and track progress against those proposals.
- Dissect problems and processes, applying logical and analytical approaches to solve them.
- Influence individuals across various roles and seniority levels to adapt their ways of working.
- Communicate theoretical concepts to senior stakeholders, including clients, and adapt delivery approaches and styles as needed.
- Manage effective planning over short, medium, and long-term horizons and execute against those plans, including documenting minutes, actions, and tracking workstreams.
- Assess and address issues, providing and implementing pragmatic solutions to ensure project progression.
- Identify risks such as conflicting deadlines or lack of skills and provide alternative solutions to mitigate those risks.
- Monitor accruals and manage projects against agreed budgets, including scope changes.
- Advise, recommend, and engage with legal technology tools to efficiently manage projects.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in working with Best Delivery technology and define requirements to support efficient delivery.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to the Legal Project Analyst team to efficiently manage projects.
- Take regular feedback and direction from colleagues, adjusting style and plans accordingly.
- Deliver presentations, facilitate workshops, and participate in client pitch teams.
- Work directly with clients, representing the law firm positively and working independently from client site locations as required.

Education and Experience Information:
- Background in project management or legal operations, ideally gained within a professional services or complex matrix environment, or experience as a lawyer with matter management experience.
- A qualification or industry-recognized certification in project management is desirable but not essential, as the law firm supports team members in obtaining these qualifications.
- Key skills include collaboration, influencing, and internal networking to make an impact as a Legal Project Manager within the firm.

Salary Information:
- The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $170,000, with the actual salary being commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
