Job Title: Virtual Personal Injury Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft demand letters, pleadings, motions, and affidavits.
- Manage and organize personal injury case files from intake through resolution.
- Communicate professionally with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and court staff.
- Assist attorneys with mediation, settlement, and trial preparation, including exhibits and witness coordination.
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and provide general case support.
- Collaborate effectively with attorneys and fellow team members.
- Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients during standard business hours (9 AM – 6 PM).
Education and Experience Information:
- At least 3 years of recent experience as a personal injury paralegal.
- Experience with workers’ compensation matters is a preferred plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, legal research tools, and cloud-based platforms.
- Experience with personal injury-specific software like FileVine and SmartAdvocate is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable using video conferencing and managing tasks remotely.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines independently.
- Equipped with a reliable Windows-based laptop, smartphone, and broadband internet.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 3 years of recent litigation paralegal experience.
Position Requirements:
- Availability to respond to client requests within one hour, Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM.
- Ability to work 20–40 hours per week on an ongoing basis.
