Job Title: Paralegal Family Law
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and assist in case analysis to support attorneys in the fathers’ rights practice within the family law sector.
- Prepare, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation by organizing case materials, drafting motions, and preparing witness lists to facilitate effective courtroom presentations.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and other involved parties to ensure clear and efficient exchange of information.
- Manage case files and documents, maintaining accurate organization and upkeep of both physical and electronic records.
- Support attorneys during depositions, mediations, and hearings as needed, providing necessary logistical and administrative assistance.
Education and Experience Information:
- Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution is required.
- 0 to 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably within the family law field, is desirable.
- Strong legal research and writing skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research software is necessary.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment is important.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for successful client and team interactions.
Salary Information:
- Competitive pay ranging from to per hour, with the potential for a monthly performance bonus, bringing total annual compensation up to $96,200.
