Trusts & Estates Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The Trusts & Estates Associate will focus on providing legal services to high net-worth individuals and families, closely-held business owners and executives, corporate fiduciaries, and charitable organizations. The primary responsibilities include estate and tax planning. The associate will be expected to apply legal knowledge and skills, communicate effectively, and write proficiently to serve the diverse client base of the law firm.
Education and Experience Information:
- JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
- Candidates should have strong academic performance.
- Trusts and estates experience is necessary.
- Excellent communication and writing skills are essential.
- Admission to the Minnesota bar or the ability to become admitted in Minnesota is required.
Salary Information:
For applicants in Minneapolis, the salary range for this position is $200,000-$210,000, determined based on the depth of experience in the practice area. There is an option for a lower billable-hours track with a proportional reduction in salary. Associates are eligible for the law firm's associate bonus program, subject to conditions and restrictions.
