Job Title: Associate Talent Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Chief Associate Talent Officer and Senior Manager of Associate Talent in firmwide initiatives aimed at the recruitment, retention, and development of top legal talent.
- Coordinate logistics, compile research, and manage administrative aspects of internal initiatives, such as the firmwide mentoring program, home office offerings, lateral associate integration, and attorney year-end evaluation and compensation processes.
- Serve as a department resource to internal clients, including firm associates, Human Resources, and Marketing departments.
- Provide administrative support to the Global and Local Committees on Associates.
- Create initial draft communications, reports, and presentations for Firm Management related to industry trends, Associate Talent key performance indicators, and other relevant items.
- Support the development and execution of firmwide survey strategy through administrative execution, project planning, materials creation, and external vendor communications.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for team strategy meetings, associate talent roadshows, associate summits, and other Associate Talent meetings.
- Process expense reports for the Chief Associate Talent Officer and Senior Manager of Associate Talent and handle department expense reports.
- Arrange travel and prepare itineraries for Chief Associate Talent Officer and Senior Manager of Associate Talent as needed.
- Participate in local and firmwide associate programming and events/activities.
- Aid the Associate Talent Team’s efforts, including Attorney Coaching, Attorney Recruiting, Professional Development, and CLE, to further advance team objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of one year experience in a professional services environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Legal industry experience is preferred.

- Agile and flexible approach to changing priorities, with willingness to quickly pivot as needed.

- Discretion in dealing with confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.); ability to adapt to new software programs as needed.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Salary Information:
- For positions in Los Angeles, CA: $55, - $88,.
- For positions in Washington, DC: $53, - $85,.
- For positions in New York, NY: $57, - $92,.
- For positions in Chicago, IL: $50, - $81,.
- The base salary or hourly wage range will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances.
- Salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package.
